If you haven't already heard, the HTC One S just landed in Taiwan. While this is nothing out of the ordinary, considering it's launch was planned, but what threw people off was the lack of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 inside. While the S3 is perfectly capable of living up to the One S, we can help but feel a bit disappointed that Qualcomm's latest monster was trapped inside. The S4 not only is faster than NVIDA's quad core Tegra 3, but it flaunts a much better battery life. According to Qualcomm, they are having a bit of trouble actually getting the new S4. If we were to take a moment to get technically here, Qualcomm only designs the chips, they ship out the blueprints to TSMC to build them, therefore leaving the troubles to be blamed on TSMC. TSMC has released a statement explaining how they are working as fast as they cane to produce as many S4s as possible, but they don't really have an understanding as to when they will meet demands.
