I think I?ve mentioned before that I am a lucky owner of the HTC EVO View 4G for Sprint aka HTC Flyer. There is almost nothing different in both versions except that the EVO View 4G is black and the Flyer is white and silver. Also, I do enjoy the way Sprint?s version lies in your hands while Flyer?s polarized aluminum panel sometimes is too cold to hold in your hands. But that?s really minor differences and shouldn?t be paid much attention to. Frankly speaking, I do feel like the EVO View 4G was released just about a week ago and I feel a bit sorry to see it at the end of Sprint?s surviving list. Of course, it?s the highest time to let the others enter the game but darn, this strange feeling inside makes you sad. Right now you can grab the EVO View 4G for $230 only without any contract obligation. If I am not mistaken, it was worth $600 when launched. I can?t say with a firm, but the only logical reason for this price drop is that Sprint will change its Wimax network on LTE and as far as EVO View 4G is attached to Wimax only, you won?t be able to enjoy LTE when it becomes available. But even despite that the HTC EVO View 4G from Sprint is a perfect treat as far as for $230 you get a 7-inch tablet equipped with 32 GB of storage, a 1.5 GHz processor, running Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS with the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich and still working 4G to take advantage of.
