Well it's settled, it seems that we won't be seeing any flip type HTC devices in the future. In the past year HTC has struggled to hold on to the market share that it once held so freely. With other competitors such as Apple and Samsung slowly evening out the market, HTC has taken to new markets in order to regain its losses. It is currently pursuing both Indian and Chinese Markets. This has caused many to speculate that HTC will be releasing a series of low-end devices in the near future. However, CEO Pete Chou was quick to dead those rumors. He recently sat down with the Wall Street Journal and said that “We don't want to destroy our brand image,” and that “"We insist on using better materials to make better products that offer premium experience. Many consumers like that." We don't have any disagreement. We personally think it would be horrible for HTC to taint its credibility by attempting to make advanced low-end devices!
